Guided by Faith, Grounded in Wellness

I am first and foremost a wife, mother of three, and a trusted friend. My life experiences have uniquely prepared me to support others in their healing journeys through a holistic, root-cause approach to wellness. I was raised within the natural health movement of the 1970s and introduced early to biblically grounded principles of health and healing. My mother is a health food store owner and naturopathic doctor, and I have been mentored in natural health practices for most of my life.

My family and I also spent ten years overseas as missionaries in South America, where we worked in language development and Bible translation among indigenous communities. Living cross-culturally and serving in diverse roles deepened my understanding of the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit. These experiences continue to shape the way I approach wellness, compassion, and care.

In my work today, I use gentle, non-invasive techniques that allow the body and subconscious mind to communicate areas of stress and imbalance. This process helps uncover root contributors affecting physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. Once imbalances are identified, I support restoration using the natural resources God has provided—such as nutrition, plants, light, water, essential oils, and prayer—encouraging the body’s innate capacity for balance, healing, and renewal.

Your transformation is possible—and I’m here to help you begin.

At 15 years old, I weighed 340 pounds, couldn’t button a size-50 pair of pants, and was already borderline diabetic. That changed when a few men at the YMCA took me under their wing, inviting me to train—and eventually compete. That moment redirected the course of my life and led me to pursue formal education in health and fitness. I went on to graduate with degrees in personal training, massage therapy, and reflexology, building a strong foundation in both performance and recovery. Over the next two decades, I competed in powerlifting, earning multiple state and national records.

Years later, life took a different turn. Sixteen years in the oil field, a full hip replacement, job loss, depression, and declining health slowly took their toll. In 2022, one photo of myself became a wake-up call. I realized how far I had drifted from who I once was—and more importantly, that my sons deserved a stronger example.

That year, I committed to change. I lost over 100 pounds, rebuilt my strength, and began reclaiming my health—physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. As my own transformation unfolded, others began reaching out for guidance, inspired by the changes they were seeing.

In March 2024, I stepped fully into my purpose: helping others transform their lives.

Today, I coach with the same discipline, passion, and belief that restored my own.

Shiloh's Origin Story

After returning to the United States in 2016, I stepped into a clear calling to serve in full-time health ministry. I began focused independent study and mentorship with trusted practitioners, which eventually led to the opening of my first clinic, Well-Being by Design, in Medina, Ohio. During that time, I invited Dr. Alphonzo Monzo, ND, PhD to join me in practice, marking the beginning of our work together as wellness partners.

Following a series of life-changing events, I made the decision to relocate to Arizona, where I founded Shiloh Wholistic Wellness Center. My passion for a wholistic, God-honoring, and client-centered approach to wellness continues to guide my work. Recognizing the need for comprehensive care rooted in compassion, I created this space to support and nurture true, whole-person well-being.

While Shiloh is founded on biblical principles, we warmly welcome all people—and their animal companions—regardless of faith, beliefs, or lifestyle.

Why Shiloh?

Shiloh carries deep biblical and messianic meaning. In Genesis 49:10, Shiloh is prophetically associated with the coming Messiah—the One to whom authority belongs and through whom peace is established. Later, Shiloh becomes the place where the tabernacle stood and God’s presence dwelled among His people (see Joshua 18:1 and 1 Samuel), representing a center of worship, guidance, and restoration.

We chose the name Shiloh to reflect this legacy of peace, God’s dwelling, and redemptive order. Our mission is to honor God’s design for the whole person - body, mind, and spirit—by creating a space rooted in compassion, truth, and restoration, pointing ultimately to the Healer who brings lasting wholeness.
